Ducted and Multi-Head Heating and Cooling Services

About Heating and Cooling

A quality ducted or multi-head heating and cooling system keeps your whole home comfortable year-round — and when it’s sized and installed correctly, it does so efficiently.

AEON Solar supplies and installs ducted reverse-cycle air conditioning systems and multi-head (multi-split) systems for Australian homeowners. We’ve added heating and cooling to our services because it’s a natural fit with solar — helping customers build a complete, energy-efficient home rather than treating each system in isolation.

Our Mission

Whole-home comfort, done efficiently.
Whole-home comfort, done efficiently. We believe heating and cooling should be comfortable, reliable, and as energy-efficient as possible. The right system, properly sized and installed, shouldn’t cost a fortune to run — especially when combined with solar. .

Our Vision

Sized for your home, not oversized for a sale.
Oversized systems short-cycle and waste energy. Undersized systems struggle and wear out faster. We take the time to properly assess your home’s size, insulation, orientation, and usage before recommending a system — so you get performance that matches what you actually need.

Ducted and Multi-Head Heating and Cooling Services — what’s included

Our heating and cooling services cover site assessment, system design, supply, installation, and commissioning. We install quality ducted reverse-cycle systems for whole-home climate control, as well as multi-head (multi-split) systems for targeted heating and cooling across multiple rooms or zones.

All installations are carried out by licensed refrigeration and electrical tradespeople and comply with Australian standards. We handle all aspects of the installation including indoor and outdoor unit placement, ductwork (for ducted systems), and zone control setup.

AEON Solar can also advise on how to schedule and run your heating and cooling system to work with your solar generation — minimizing grid consumption during peak tariff periods and getting more value from the energy your panels produce.

    Have Your Any Question?

A ducted system uses a single large unit (usually in the roof cavity) to distribute conditioned air throughout the home via a network of ducts and vents. A multi-head system uses one outdoor unit connected to multiple individual indoor units in different rooms. Ducted systems offer a cleaner aesthetic; multi-head systems are more flexible for homes where ductwork isn’t practical.

System sizing depends on your home’s floor area, ceiling height, insulation level, window area, orientation, and local climate. An undersized system won’t keep up in extreme weather; an oversized one will short-cycle and waste energy. We carry out a proper load calculation before making any recommendation.

Yes. Running your heating and cooling during daylight hours when your solar panels are generating means you’re using your own electricity rather than buying from the grid. We can advise on scheduling and smart controls that help you maximise solar self-consumption.

Not necessarily. A properly sized ducted system with zoning controls can be just as efficient as individual split systems — and more convenient to operate. Running costs depend heavily on how the system is used, how well the home is insulated, and whether you’re using solar to offset consumption.

AEON Solar provides after-sales support for systems we install. If you experience any issues with performance or operation, contact us directly and we’ll work through it with you.
