Commercial Solar and Battery Services for Australian Businesses

About Commercial Solar and Battery

Commercial solar and battery storage is one of the most effective ways for Australian businesses to reduce electricity costs, protect against rising tariffs, and demonstrate a genuine commitment to sustainability.

AEON Solar has been working across both the renewable energy and energy retail sectors since 2015. That dual experience gives us a practical understanding of how commercial electricity tariffs work — and how to design solar and battery systems that deliver the best possible financial return for your business, not just the largest system we can install.

Our Mission

Real savings, not just solar panels on a roof.
A commercial solar system is a significant investment. We approach every project with the same rigour — reviewing your tariff structure, load profile, and roof or ground space to design a system that genuinely improves your energy position.

Our Vision

Energy retail knowledge, applied to solar.
Most solar companies don’t understand commercial electricity tariffs. We do. That means we can identify where solar and battery storage will make the biggest difference to your bill — including demand charges, time-of-use periods, and network tariff structures that residential-focused installers often overlook.

Commercial Solar and Battery Services — What’s Included

Our commercial solar and battery services cover energy assessment, system design, supply, installation, grid connection, and ongoing support. We design systems for businesses of varying sizes — from small commercial premises through to larger industrial or multi-site operations.

All commercial installations are carried out by CEC accredited installers with experience in commercial-scale projects. We manage all design documentation, grid connection applications, and utility approvals, and we provide detailed performance reporting so you can track your system’s output and savings.

Battery storage for commercial applications can address demand charge reduction, peak shaving, and backup power requirements. We assess whether battery storage makes financial sense for your specific tariff and load profile before recommending it — not as a default add-on.

    Have Your Any Question?

System size depends on your electricity consumption, load profile (when you use energy during the day), available roof or ground space, and your budget. We analyse your bills and site before recommending a size — the goal is to match generation to your daytime consumption as closely as possible, not simply to fill your roof.

Demand charges are based on your peak electricity draw during a billing period, not just total consumption. Solar alone has limited impact on demand charges unless generation consistently coincides with your peak demand periods. Battery storage can be more effective at reducing demand charges, and we assess this as part of your overall energy strategy.

Yes. Commercial solar systems are eligible for Small-scale Technology Certificates (STCs) under 100kW, and Large-scale Generation Certificates (LGCs) for systems above that threshold. Some state-based programs also apply. We’ll confirm what your business is entitled to as part of the assessment process.

Timelines vary depending on system size, roof complexity, and grid connection requirements. A straightforward small commercial installation might take one to two days; larger projects are planned and scheduled in detail with you before work commences.

We provide performance monitoring, fault identification, and maintenance support for commercial systems we install. If your system’s output changes unexpectedly, we investigate and address the cause — you’re not left managing it yourself.
